Hoshizaki America KMD-860MAJ
The KMD-860MAJ is capable of producing approximately 855 lbs. of crescent cubed ice. The energy efficient KMEdge design incorporates a dual-sided stainless steel evaporator. Its ice on beverage design makes it ideal for use in busy self-serve areas, fast food restaurants, employee break rooms and more. This air-cooled, modular icemaker features a CycleSaver design and includes the EverCheck alert system making the unit energy efficient and simple to maintain. The KMD-860MAJ requires a single phase, 208 to 230 V/60/1, 3 wire, including ground. Must be hardwired at site, no cord/plug included electrical connection that is hard-wired at the installation site. Compatible bins and dispensers, sold separately: B-250, BD-500, B-700, B-800, B-900, B-1150, B-1300, B-1500, B-1650. Please consult the specification sheet for additional details. Replaces KMD-850MAH and KMD-901MAH.

Hoshizaki Electric Company was established in February, 1947 in Nagoya, Japan by Mr. Shigetoshi Sakamoto. One of the first electrical products sold by Hoshizaki Electric was vehicle horns. Over the years, Hoshizaki Electric has manufactured and sold a variety of products to include stoves, refrigerators, vending machines, water purifiers, servers and dispensers, ice-makers and refrigerated show cases. As a subsidiary of Hoshizaki Electric, Hoshizaki America was established in Los Angeles, California in December 1981. The Hoshizaki America facility in Peachtree City, Georgia was completed in 1986. An additional manufacturing facility in Griffin, Georgia began operation in early 2001.
